She Believed, She Could, So She Did - Harsimrt Pabla

Harsimrt Pabla

"If you carry your childhood with you, you never become old" and this is so true for Harsimrt. Talk to her once and you will be assured she has preserved all her innocence from childhood. She was the pampered one being the first born in her family. But she never went from being pampered to spoilt, although her grandparents adored her. They used to fulfill all her wishes and her parents couldn't do anything about it. Yes, She was a loved child and was lucky to have the love of her grandparents every single day. She completed her professional education from Malaysia, she continued to work there as a career center executive. She eventually came back to India and had a major health transformation and continued her learning from that day on. She currently stays in Canada with her husband and a lovely 22 month old toddler. lets understand more about her passion from her.

1. What service(s) or product(s) do you offer/manufacture? ...

I currently help people with their nutrition, exercise, while developing healthy and sustainable habits. Most important, making them believe that they got what it takes to reach their health goals. I work Online, coach them personally and have coached more than 150 clients so far.

2. How did you get your idea or concept ? ...
I myself had a very major weight-loss transformation where I lost 45 Kgs and reversed PCOS. I struggled a lot in the beginning and realized how vast this field is. I started doing a lot of research and finally came a point where I knew i would be able to help people with the same. I am currently pursuing my Nutrition certification as well ! One of the best part about my profession is that i get to be in the learning phase continuously and always consider myself as a student because there is so much to learn every single day.

3.What do the day-to-day responsibilities of the role look like ? ...
When it comes to day to day responsibilities of the role -  I make sure that my clients get their plans at-least 2 days in advance. It also consists of regular follow ups through the day, checking up with them, sending them daily dose of enthusiasm and understanding the when they are struggling. I do all this and more while attending to an energetic toddler who keeps me in my toes.

4. What are some of the mistakes you wish you could have avoided ? ...
Excess cardio, ate a lot of food that I actually didn't relish and just ate because apparently it was healthy, the "All or Nothing " attitude which makes things even worse because it never lets you be consistent.

5. Are you happy and what would you change ? ...
I believe that happiness is a state of mind. There are highs and lows, I have my own set of challenges ( specially working with a toddler around me 24/7). But I know if i do it all with happiness, I will do it in the best possible way. I don't want to actually change anything currently, but I wish to have better time management skills. Some days, I just feel that 24 hours are not enough.

6. A quote you stand by ...
" It is never going to be easy, but it is always going to be worth it " , " Do whatever you can , whenever you can and wherever you can "
I know it had to be one, but I seriously cannot choose between these two because I honestly live by these two quotes.

Wow.....what inspiring journey! Learning, applying on self and then passing on the wisdom to people. I am so sure her pure intentions of helping people is what gives her the push to continue doing it everyday. Carving time for your passion with a toddler around, is something.  The contentment that she derives with helping people, must be her most cherished blessing!
