She Believed, She Could, So She Did - Richa Agrawal

As promised, here we begin. This is the start of a highly inspirational and motivational journey. Its said, "Do what you love and you will never work a day in your life". In this journey we will peep into days and lives of women who epitomize this very thing. Their passion is much more stronger than their urge to succeed. But be sure when you follow your passion, success and happiness follow you back.

Richa Agrawal

Today we will get to know Richa Agrawal, she is the proud founder and owner of "Colors & Emotions". Her brand showcases paintings and various handcrafted home decor articles. She is a professionally qualified Engineer of Computer Sciences and has also done her MBA. She was a campus placement recruit and worked in telecom and finance industry for three years. She comes from nuclear family and is a only child. Must definitely be the pampered one if not the spoilt one. She got married and is currently based in Pune and loves her joint family. She indulges in cooking and gardening and can be best described as a fun loving person. She has a lot of dreams and desires and she is already on her path to chase them. I genuinely hope she achieves all that her dreams and much more.....

Let now listen to what she has to say....

1. What service(s) or product(s) do you offer/manufacture? ...

I deal in handmade paintings like acrylic, oil paintings on canvas and other mediums too...also I specialize in decoupage, mix media art, bottle art, alcohol ink art, resin art, textured art and many other art-forms and deliver all over India.

I am into customization too...

2. How did you get your idea or concept ? ...

Since childhood i am extremely fascinated by art and craft. I always wanted to pursue my passion and finally started my venture in September 2019 with support of my husband, parents and my in-laws. I will be successfully completing 1 year. This journey has been amazingly beautiful and challenging for me, it pushes me more towards my dreams. I completed a lot of commissioned work and it has been a big hit. People have really appreciated my work and creativity. Positive feedback encourages to do more and serve my customers in the best way possible.

They share their ideas and thoughts and I execute and convert them into beautiful art pieces.

3.What do the day-to-day responsibilities of the role look like ? ...

Being an artist is not an easy job, it takes a lots of experiments, failures, that lead to hours and weeks of frustration and eventually moments of pure unadulterated joy...it translates into much more than artwork as emotions and feelings get interwoven with it. I make sure to fulfill client's needs and match up-to their expectations, by converting their imaginations to reality.

4. What are some of the mistakes you wish you could have avoided ? ...

Most of the times i feel i am not giving required amount of time to my work. If i can learn to manage time and get better with prioritization, I am sure to reach greater heights indeed.

5. Are you happy and what would you change ? ...

I am in love with what i am doing as i am following my passion and chasing my dreams that i wanted to do from so long. I believe I am delivering happiness in form of art to people all over world, will continue to do so with more dedication and perfection in coming projects.

6. A quote you stand by ...

Do what makes your soul happy...

Lets all support and give Richa a huge applause. her proud venture completes a year on 3rd of September. I suggest run to her Instagram or FB page and get set to win. she is running a lot of giveaway contests. I am sure her artistic pieces are dream to get your hands on.
